Sheffield is well known for it's two most excellent Football Teams of course - not to mention Ice Hockey, Rugby, Basketball teams and plenty more .. we have some of the finest sports facilities and enough devoted people keeping sports alive and well in our youth and the community. Here there's a list of local groups and teams, along with the bigger organizations. NETBALL - if you'd like to get involved with this sport, there's The South Yorkshire County Netball Association providing an Open training session on Tuesday nites, 7:15-8:45 @ Ponds Forge Sports Centre. It's informal and open to all. Go along and join in the fun, maybe even join a team. £2.50 a session, minimum age Y10.
